NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for Gulf of Maine Research Institute's Exempted Fishing Permit Application

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has given preliminary approval to an application by the Gulf of Maine Research Institute to amend an existing Exempted Fishing Permit, allowing one vessel to test the effect of smaller mesh on cod catches while targeting Acadian redfish.
