FMCSA Grants Exemption to Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, Inc. for Driver Qualification Files

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has approved Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, Inc.'s application to exempt itself from requiring motor carriers to rely on the motor vehicle record (MVR) of newly hired drivers holding a commercial driver's license (CDL) for medical qualifications during the initial period of employment, instead allowing the use of the medical long form.
