FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Model AS332C and EC225LP helicopters, requiring the installation of skived polytetrafluoroethylene tape or removal and replacement of window seals to address an unsafe condition caused by excessive friction between the window seal and the helicopter airframe.
