Revisions to Export Enforcement Provisions

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is revising and clarifying export enforcement provisions in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to align with the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (ECRA), which expanded export control authorities to the Secretary of Commerce. The changes also address licensing and penalty procedures.
