Energy Conservation Program: Test Procedures for Commercial Equipment; Early Assessment Review: Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is conducting an early assessment review to determine if it should update its test procedures for packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs) and packaged terminal heat pumps (PTHPs) to align with the latest American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Standard 90.1, unless there is strong evidence for alternative procedures. The public is invited to submit written comments and data related to this review.
