Hawaii Longline Association Applies for Experimental Fishing Permit to Test Bird Scaring Streamers

The Hawaii Longline Association has submitted a request to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to test the effectiveness of tori lines in the Hawaii deep-set longline fishery, with the goal of improving conservation and management of the fishery.
