Suspension of Community Eligibility for Flood Insurance Program

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will suspend the sale of flood insurance in certain communities due to noncompliance with floodplain management requirements, but communities that adopt required measures before the suspension date may avoid the suspension.
