US Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone in Narragansett Bay

The US Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, to protect people, boats, and the environment from potential hazards caused by dredging operations. The zone, which spans 1,700 feet around the barge M. J. VERROCHI, will be enforced by the Captain of the Port, Southeastern New England, unless authorized by a designated representative.
