FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 717-200 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing 717-200 airplanes to address a safety concern related to the installation of spoiler assemblies, which may have incorrect splice bars and lack reinforcing doublers.
