NRC Issues Draft Regulatory Guide for Quality Standards in Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on a draft regulatory guide (DG-1371) that outlines quality standards for components in light-water reactor nuclear power plants, including those containing radioactive materials. The proposed revision updates guidance on quality classification systems and reflects the latest regulatory guidance since the previous revision was issued in February 2017.
