Southern Nuclear Operating Company Inc. Exempted from Emergency Preparedness Exercise at Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Unit 4

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. from conducting an emergency preparedness exercise at Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Unit 4, allowing the plant to proceed with its initial fuel load without the required exercise.
