FDA Amends Temporary Permit for Kraft Foods' Deviating Parmesan Cheese Product

The FDA is amending Kraft Foods' temporary permit to allow Lactalis Heritage Dairy, Inc. to market test a grated parmesan cheese product that deviates from the standards of identity for parmesan cheese and grated cheeses, in order to collect data on consumer acceptance.
