Oregon and Washington Pears to Face Higher Assessment Rate

The US Department of Agriculture has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for pears grown in Oregon and Washington, effective for the 2021-22 fiscal period and beyond, in line with a recommendation from the Fresh Pear Committee.
