Western Area Power Administration Proposes New Formula Rates for Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program-Eastern Division

Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is proposing new rate formulas for the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program--Eastern Division transmission and ancillary services, which will be used by the Upper Great Plains Region to provide rate data to the Southwest Power Pool, Inc. The proposed rates aim to maintain overall customer costs, with an increase in the Operating Reserves rate offset by a reduction in the transmission rate, set to expire on September 30, 2020.
