FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A320-214, -216, -232, and -233 Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus A320-214, -216, -232, and -233 airplanes to address an unsafe condition related to undetected contacts between fuel quantity indicating system harnesses and the center tank structure. The proposed AD would require modification of fasteners for specific harness routings, as specified in a European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD.
