U.S. Navy Seeks 7-Year Extension for Marine Mammal Take in Hawaii-Southern California Training Area

The U.S. Navy has requested a 7-year extension for Marine Mammal Protection Act regulations allowing for the incidental take of marine mammals during training and testing activities in the Hawaii-Southern California Training and Testing Study Area, which would run from December 2023 to December 2025.
