FMCSA Receives Exemption Applications for Individuals with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced the receipt of applications from four individuals seeking exemptions to operate commercial motor vehicles despite having implantable cardioverter defibrillators, which would allow them to drive in interstate commerce if granted.
