U.S. Department of Energy Grants Waiver to Johnson Controls for Central Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Efficiency Testing

The U.S. Department of Energy has granted Johnson Controls, Inc. a waiver to use an alternative test procedure for determining the efficiency of certain central air conditioners and heat pumps, allowing the company to test and rate its products under a different set of standards.
