Dow AgroSciences LLC Seeks Exemption for Nicotinamide in Pesticide Formulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a petition from Dow AgroSciences LLC to exempt nicotinamide, a corrosion inhibitor used on growing crops, from the requirement of a tolerance in pesticide formulations, allowing up to 5.0% of the substance in these products.
