FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Régional Model ATR72 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Régional Model ATR72 airplanes to address the unsafe condition of incorrectly installed main landing gear (MLG) bushings. The directive requires a general visual inspection and replacement of the bushings, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD.
