Delta-Mendota Canal Intertie Project to Receive New Transmission Line and Fiber Optic Cable

The U.S. Department of Energy and Western Area Power Administration plan to authorize a new 69-kilovolt transmission line and fiber optic cable for the Delta-Mendota Canal Intertie project, a water delivery system in California, following a 2009 environmental impact statement and record of decision.
