University of Maryland and MIT Under Investigation by Department Over Foreign Gifts and Contracts

The Department of Investigation has launched a probe into the universities' reports of defined gifts and contracts, including restricted and conditional gifts or contracts, from or with a statutorily defined foreign source, as revealed in letters dated September 26, 2019.
