FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Robinson Helicopter Company Helicopters with Agricultural Spray System

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address a safety concern with Robinson Helicopter Company Model R44 and R44 II helicopters equipped with a Simplex Manufacturing Company (Simplex) Model 244 spray system, following a report of an in-flight failure of the spray system elbow pump fitting.
