U.S. Department of Energy Grants Waiver to Whirlpool Corporation for Residential Dishwasher Test Procedure

The U.S. Department of Energy has granted Whirlpool Corporation a waiver from its dishwasher test procedure, allowing the company to use an alternate test procedure for certain models containing integrated water softeners, which will help measure energy and water consumption more accurately.
