DoD Repeals DFARS Requirement for Independent Research and Development Technical Interchange

The Department of Defense (DoD) is issuing a final rule to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to remove a requirement for major contractors to have a technical interchange with the Government prior to generating independent research and development costs, effective immediately.
