NextEra Energy Resources Seeks Interconnection with Western Area Power Administration's Fort Thompson Substation

NextEra Energy Resources has applied to interconnect its proposed 150-megawatt Hyde County Wind Energy Center Project in South Dakota with Western Area Power Administration's Fort Thompson Substation, prompting Western to prepare an environmental impact statement and conduct scoping meetings to assess the proposal under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
