HUD Offers Expedited Relief Process for Public Housing Agencies Affected by 2018 Major Disasters

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is providing a streamlined process for public housing agencies (PHAs) in disaster-affected areas to request relief from HUD regulations, allowing them to more quickly respond to the needs of families impacted by major disasters declared by the President in 2018.
