BASF Secures EPA Tolerance Exemption for Pesticide Chemical Mixture

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted a tolerance exemption to BASF Corporation for the use of a specific chemical mixture in pesticide formulations, eliminating the need to set a maximum residue limit for residues on food or feed commodities. BASF submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), seeking this exemption.
