Tennessee Valley Authority to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Closure of Coal Combustion Residual Impoundments at Allen Fossil Plant

The Tennessee Valley Authority plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to assess the environmental effects of closing coal combustion residual impoundments at the Allen Fossil Plant in Tennessee, with the goal of eliminating all wet storage and supporting future economic development in the Memphis area.
