EPA Grants Exemption to Calcium Formate in Pesticide Formulations for Growing Crops

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of calcium formate, a carrier ingredient used in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops, allowing farmers to use the substance without needing to establish a maximum permissible level for residues.
