EPA Grants Exemption to TMCC for Hazardous Waste Injection in Corpus Christi, Texas

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reissued an exemption to TMCC for injecting Class I hazardous waste into a well at their facility in Corpus Christi, Texas, until December 31, 2028, after reviewing the company's petition and supporting documentation, which demonstrated a reasonable degree of certainty that hazardous constituents will not migrate from the injection zone.
