Textron Aviation, Inc. has been issued special conditions by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its B200-series airplanes, which feature an autothrust system designed by Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. The special conditions aim to establish additional safety standards to ensure the equivalent level of safety as existing airworthiness standards.
