Coast Guard Establishes Emergency Safety Zone on Ohio River

The U.S. Coast Guard has created a temporary safety zone along the Ohio River, from mile marker 530.6 to 533.0, to prevent vessels from colliding with Markland Lock and Dam due to high river levels, strong currents, and excessive drifting.
