U.S. Customs and Border Protection Adjusts Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has adjusted civil monetary penalties for two specific violations, including transporting passengers coastwise by Bowaters vessels and employing vessels without required documentation, in accordance with the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015, which was enacted on November 2, 2015.
