Federal Communications Commission Proposes Revised E911 Location Accuracy Requirements

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to require Commercial Mobile Radio Service providers to deliver accurate vertical location information for wireless 911 calls, with a target accuracy of plus or minus three meters, particularly for calls made from multi-story buildings.
