US Secretary of Health and Human Services to Allow Importation of Certain Prescription Drugs from Canada
The US Secretary of Health and Human Services is issuing a final rule to implement a provision of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, allowing States, Indian Tribes, and certain pharmacists and wholesalers to import prescription drugs from Canada, provided they meet specific requirements and demonstrate a significant reduction in costs for American consumers.
