SEC Issues Guidance on Revenue Recognition for Bill-and-Hold Arrangements

The Securities and Exchange Commission is updating its guidance on revenue recognition for bill-and-hold arrangements to align with the new Financial Accounting Standards Board Accounting Standards Codification Topic 606, which will replace existing criteria set forth in Securities Exchange Act Release No. 23507 and Accounting and Auditing Enforcement Release No. 108, In the Matter of Stewart Parness.
