EPA Approves Missouri Air Quality Plan, Infrastructure SIP for PM2.5 Standard
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve elements of a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision from the State of Missouri for the 2012 Annual Fine Particulate Matter (PM 2.5) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS), addressing conflicts of interest under the Clean Air Act (CAA). The approval aims to ensure the structural components of Missouri's air quality management program meet state responsibilities under the CAA.
