Wisconsin Historical Society Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Requests Transfer to Lineal Descendants or Tribes

The Wisconsin Historical Society has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, determining a cultural affiliation with present-day Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. Lineal descendants or representatives of unlisted tribes can submit a written request to transfer control of the remains.
