Navy Amends Certifications and Exemptions Under International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972

The US Department of the Navy is updating its exemptions for certain Navy vessels, the VIRGINIA SSN Class, from complying with international collision prevention regulations due to their unique construction and naval purpose, in order to alert mariners in affected waters.
