NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Herring Annual Catch Limit for Management Area 1A

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is revising the annual catch limit for Atlantic Herring Management Area 1A for the 2017 fishing year due to an underharvest in the New Brunswick weir fishery, in order to meet the 2016-2018 management specifications and measures for the Atlantic Herring Fishery Management.
