FHWA Grants Buy America Waiver for Georgia Ports Authority Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes

The FHWA has issued a notice stating that a Buy America waiver is suitable for 33 iron and steel components of Georgia Ports Authority-procured Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) cranes, as they are not manufactured in the US in sufficient quantities and quality. This waiver will increase intermodal capacity at the Garden City Terminal in Garden City, Georgia.
