BASF Seeks Exemption for Polyethyleneimine in Pesticide Formulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of polyethyleneimine, a chemical used in pesticide formulations, on growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest, following a petition submitted by BASF Corporation under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
