Delivery and Shipping Standards for Cotton Warehouses

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) proposes to update regulations for warehouses storing and handling cotton, changing how warehouse operators account for bales made available for shipment and how CCC determines compliance. The proposed changes aim to improve the accuracy of cotton flow reporting and align with the 2018 transfer of warehouse programs from the Farm Service Agency to the Agricultural Marketing Service.
