Holtec International Seeks NRC Approval for HI-STORE Nuclear Storage Facility

Holtec International has submitted a license application to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a 40-year permit to construct and operate the HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility in New Mexico, which would store up to 8,680 metric tons of spent nuclear fuel.
