NRC Grants Exemption to OPPD for Reduced Financial Protection at Fort Calhoun Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) to reduce the required financial protection at the Fort Calhoun Station, from $450 million to $100 million, in response to a request made by OPPD on April 28, 2017.
