FDA Announces Final Guidance for Coordinated Development of Antimicrobial Drugs and Devices

The FDA is releasing a final guidance to help drug sponsors and device manufacturers develop new antimicrobial drugs and devices in coordination, allowing for potential simultaneous approval of the new drug and the AST device.
