Tax Return Preparers Must File Individual Income Tax Returns Using Magnetic Media, IRS Proposes New Regulations

The IRS has proposed new regulations requiring tax return preparers who expect to file over 100 individual income tax returns in 2011 or 11 or more in 2012 to use magnetic media to file tax returns, as part of changes made by the Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009.
