NRCS Announces Intent to Deauthorize Funding for Lick Creek Watershed Project in Virginia

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has notified the public of its decision to withdraw federal funding for the Lick Creek Watershed project, which serves Russell, Dickenson, and Wise counties in Virginia, effective under the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act of 1954 and NRCS guidelines.
