Acrylic Polymers Tolerance Exemption
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has amended a regulation to exempt residues of acrylic polymers, including lauryl acrylate and acrylamidopropyl methyl sulfonic acid, from the requirement of a tolerance in pesticide formulations. OMC Ag Consulting, on behalf of Vive Crop Protection Inc, submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), eliminating the need for a maximum permissible level of residues on food or feed commodities.
